15-Inch Vehicle-Mounted Rugged Computer
Duros rugged computers are the new standard in vehicle-mounted terminals. Regardless of the vehicle it is used in, every Duros computer is ready to face the harshest environmental conditions. From use in long-haul big rigs, to first-responder emergency vehicles, to forklifts and pallet trucks, to construction equipment–these computers feature precision-milled aluminum construction in a one-piece design, so bulky corded peripherals are not required.
Though the Duros 1502 rugged computer offers a large 15-inch touchscreen, it still maintains a slim profile making it ideal for use in nearly any rugged environment. It is well-suited for the mining and exploration, construction and goods movement industries. It features the same versatility of the other Duros products–processor and port customization, removable hard drive, wide-range voltage input and the ability to run a variety of operating systems.
Each Duros computer is compliant to the stringent MIL-STD-810C and -810E military specifications and tests for vibration, shock, and dust and moisture ingress (sealed to IP65). The exterior housing is comprised of two solid, precision-milled aluminum halves with integrated passive heatsinking, which increases the ability to handle temperature extremes. The interior is designed so that all boards are securely mounted with multiple screws and there are no loose wires or cables inside the machines to cause failures.
The Duros product line includes mountable, display computers with screen diameters from 10 to 15 inches, and most include features such as a removable hard drive, high-bright displays, wide-range voltage input, and numerous processor configurations, all of which allow for fast, reliable access to critical data from field users.
