The Duros® 1214 was specifically designed to meet the rugged atmosphere in warehouse, cold storage, shipping and port environments. Its ultra-light housing features all-in-one aluminum construction, making it resistant to the harshest elements. Sealed to IP65, it also meets or exceeds MIL-STD-810F for drop, vibration, temperature, shock, and altitude.
The Duros 1214 computer can be easily mounted onto a variety of industrial machinery, including forklifts, pallet trucks, container pickers and automated guided vehicles. Its compact design limits intrusion into valuable cabin space, and the power supply can accommodate 9-36 VDC or 18-72 VDC, making it versatile for operations from warehousing to trucking to inbound and outbound container movement in ports.
The 12.1-inch SVGA screen is constructed from ultra-rugged polysilicon tempered glass and the resistive touchscreen makes operation with a gloved finger or stylus fast and accurate. The 1214 is powered by the fast and efficient Intel® Atom™ processor. CompactFlash storage is available up to 32 GB, and it features four USB 2.0 ports for improved connectivity to main operations. A serial port is also available to support legacy devices.
The extended operating temperature allows the 1214 to function even in sub-zero environments making it perfect for refrigeration and cold storage applications. The dual-diversity antennas provide superior connectivity so your mobile operators are always online.
Additionally, the 1214 features an internal battery backup (UPS) that provides up to 20 minutes of continuous use without external power – perfect when changing the forklift battery or making last-minute entries after powering down the machinery for the day. It truly is the most cost-effective and versatile vehicle-mounted computer on the market today.
